ROV Supervisor

C-Innovation is accepting resumes for ROV Supervisors. A qualified candidate would have a strong electronic, electrical and mechanical background and at least 180 days as a Senior Pilot Technician.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent/university or technical training
  • Formal ROV operator training
  • Electronic/electrical/mechanical background
  • Nominally 180 days as senior pilot tech with completed assessments
  • Holds a current valid Offshore Medical Certificate
  • Holds a current certificate in an offshore survival course suitable for geographical area of work
  • ROV operator experience is required
  • Leadership and personal development training

Responsibilities

  • In charge for the operational activities of the assigned ROV system
  • Ensures that the assigned ROV system is properly maintained, updated PMP and operative when required
  • Ensures that the assigned ROV is checked before and after the dive in accordance with relevant pre and post dive check lists.
  • Ensure that the assigned ROV system have updated spare part list and ensure there are spare part according to critical spare part list.
  • Coordinates and supervises the ROV crew and the operational activities for the ROV system during all phases of the work scope
  • Ensures that all project CI and client specific requirements are met during performance of work
  • Ensures that all project CI and client specific requirements are met regarding dive log, video log, video and still pictures.
  • Ensures Operation criteria’s for assigned ROV system is followed.
  • Liaises with all parties involved in the operation
  • Supervises, integrates and teaches trainee all the ROV pilot’s duties and tasks according to personnel’s skills and background.
  • Stops the operational activities on board if these are not carried out in compliance with the prevailing internal, client or statutory regulations
  • Works as directed by supervisor

HSE Responsibilities

  • Document and notify Superintendent/Company Management immediately of any accidents, illnesses, incidents, near misses, etc.
  • Participate and supervise the Company’s safety programs (e.g. BBS, Pre-Job Safety Meetings, Toolbox Talks, Control of Work, Near Miss, Risk Assessments, etc.)
  • Utilize “Stop Work Authority” if any personal safety, environmental risk, property damage or Company reputation are at risk
  • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and use of all necessary PPE
  • Performs all duties while wearing protective equipment to include PFD, gloves, boots, eye protection, hearing protection, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring and supervising the elimination of at-risk behaviors by reducing unsafe conditions and unsafe acts on and around the work site
  • Responsible for participation in accident, incident, and quality investigations and implementing corrective actions, as directed
  • Participate and ensure that safe jobs, toolbox talks, safety briefings, MOM, lessons learned, 52-Week Training Matrix topics, and HSE Summary Meetings are conducted

    ROV Pilot Tech 1

    C-Innovation is now accepting resumes for ROV Pilot Tech 1; 1 year minimum of ROV experience required.

    Qualifications

    • High school graduate or equivalent/university or technical training
    • Electronic/electrical/mechanical background
    • Holds a current valid Offshore Medical Certificate
    • Holds a current certificate in an offshore survival course suitable for geographical area of work
    • ROV operator experience

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains, repairs and troubleshoots ROV systems
    • Adheres to mechanical/electrical principles to industry standards
    • Piloting, navigation and log keeping
    • Performs routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and gives input to field solutions
    • Reads and generates schematics
    • Does launch and recovery of ROV system
    • Ensures that the ROV is checked before and after the dive in accordance with relevant pre and post dive checklists
    • Follows lock out tag out procedures in accordance with C-Innovation policies
    • Operates within the established company HSE policies and operating standards
    • Works offshore in harsh weather environments on a rotation or call-out basis
    • Repairs, maintains and operates the ROV umbilical cable handling system (winch and hydraulic power unit)
    • Repairs, maintains the ROV hydraulic and mechanical systems
    • Maintains the mechanical spares shipboard inventory
    • Performs all general manipulator duties
    • Can carry out electrical and mechanical umbilical terminations
